Drive 300 miles, then take a right

A short post: We woke up this morning in an Embassy Suites in Denver and collapsed on our quilted bed in the Silver Saddle Motel in Santa Fe. We picked up our trusty Ford Focus (yay, fuel economy!) at Enterprise and spent the day taking the scenic route, via Pueblo and Taos, plus some abrupt side-of-the-highway photo-ops. I don’t think my little phone camera could begin to do justice to the vast scenery we saw along the way, but I’ll attach a few shots. Hopefully Jason got some better ones with his real camera. A delicious recommendation led us to Tomasita’s for dinner, where we stuffed ourselves on red and green chiles. After a long day of driving and a very filling meal, we both passed out pretty quickly.
